حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ لِأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ قَالَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ وَغَيْرَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ.
English Translation
Hashim told us, Zuhayr told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed in a single garment, wrapping it around himself. Some of the people said to Abu al-Zubayr, "Was this the obligatory prayer?" He said, "The obligatory and the non-obligatory."
