حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ فَلَا تُفْسِدُوهَا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أَعْمَرَ عُمْرَى فَهِيَ لِلَّذِي أُعْمِرَهَا حَيًّا وَمَيِّتًا وَلِعَقِبِهِ.
English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us, Zuhayr told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Hold on to your properties and do not spoil them, for whoever gives a life-grant, it belongs to the one to whom it was given, during his life and after his death, and to his descendants."
