English Translation
Mus'ab ibn Sallam told us — I heard it from my father twice — al-Ajlah told us, from al-Dhayyal ibn Harmalah, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: We were coming with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, from a journey, until when we came to an orchard among the orchards of Banu al-Najjar, there was a camel in it that would not let anyone enter the orchard without charging at him. They mentioned that to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he came until he reached the orchard and called the camel, and it came, lowering its muzzle to the ground, until it knelt before him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Bring a halter," so he haltered it and gave it to its owner. Then he turned to the people and said, "There is nothing between heaven and earth but that it knows that I am the Messenger of Allah, except the disobedient among the jinn and mankind."
