حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا بَعَثَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نَبِيًّا إِلَّا أَنْذَرَ أُمَّتَهُ الدَّجَّالَ أَلَا إِنَّهُ الْأَعْوَرُ الْكَذَّابُ أَلَا إِنَّهُ أَعْوَرُ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ مَكْتُوبٌ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ كَفَرَ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'If there were a river at the door of one of you, and he bathed in it five times a day, would any dirt remain on him?' They said: 'No dirt would remain on him.' He said: 'That is the likeness of the five daily prayers. Allah wipes away sins by means of them.'
