حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدٌ يَسُرُّهُ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُ عَشَرَةُ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَّا الشَّهِيدَ فَإِنَّهُ يَوَدُّ أَنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا فَاسْتُشْهِدَ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ لِمَا رَأَى مِنْ الْفَضْلِ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Cutting ties of kinship does not increase a people's lifespan. Maintaining ties of kinship — Allah will lengthen the life of one who maintains them.'
