حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ أَنَّ أَنَسًا سُئِلَ عَنْ شَعَرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ شَعْرًا أَشْبَهَ بِشَعْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ شَعَرِ قَتَادَةَ فَفَرِحَ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَتَادَةُ.
English Translation
Anas was asked about the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he said: 'I have not seen hair more similar to the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) than the hair of Qatadah.' Qatadah was delighted that day.
