حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَنَسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.
English Translation
'Affan told us, Shu'bah told us, who said: Musa ibn Anas told me, who said: I heard Anas say that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much." 'Affan told us, Hammam told us, Qatadah told us, Anas ibn Malik told us, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If you knew..." and he mentioned the like of it.
