حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَعَتَّابٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا سَلَّامُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيعِ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مَيِّتٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَبْلُغُونَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِائَةً فَيَشْفَعُونَ لَهُ إِلَّا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ قَالَ سَلَّامٌ فَحَدَّثَنَا بِهِ شُعَيْبُ بْنُ الْحَبْحَابِ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
Ali ibn Ishaq told us, Abdullah and 'Attab told us, who said: Abdullah told us, Sallam ibn Abi Muti' told us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Abdullah — the foster son of Aisha — from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "There is no deceased person prayed over by a group of Muslims numbering a hundred, interceding for him, but their intercession is accepted for him." Sallam said: Shu'ayb ibn al-Habhab then narrated it to us and said: Anas ibn Malik told me this, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
