English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad told us, Sufyan — meaning Ibn 'Uyaynah — told us, from Ali ibn Jud'an, from Anas, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The voice of Abu Talhah in the army is better than a company of men." He said: And he used to kneel before him in battle, then scatter the arrows from his quiver and say: "My face be a shield for your face, and my life a ransom for your life."
