حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْمَرَ وَلَمْ أَشُمَّ مِسْكَةً وَلَا عَنْبَرَةً أَطْيَبَ رِيحًا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
Khalaf ibn al-Walid told us, he said: Khalid informed us, from Humayd, from Anas, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was of a light-brown complexion, and I have never smelled musk or ambergris more fragrant than the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
