حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى أُمَّ حَرَامٍ فَأَتَيْنَاهُ بِتَمْرٍ وَسَمْنٍ فَقَالَ رُدُّوا هَذَا فِي وِعَائِهِ وَهَذَا فِي سِقَائِهِ فَإِنِّي صَائِمٌ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ تَطَوُّعًا فَأَقَامَ أُمَّ حَرَامٍ وَأُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ خَلْفَنَا وَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فِيمَا يَحْسَبُ ثَابِتٌ قَالَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا تَطَوُّعًا عَلَى بِسَاطٍ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قَالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِنَّ لِي خُوَيْصَّةً خُوَيْدِمُكَ أَنَسٌ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ فَمَا تَرَكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرًا مِنْ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا دَعَا لِي بِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيهِ قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي ابْنَتِي أَنِّي قَدْ دَفَنْتُ مِنْ صُلْبِي بِضْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ وَمَا أَصْبَحَ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ رَجُلٌ أَكْثَرَ مِنِّي مَالًا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَنَسٌ يَا ثَابِتُ مَا أَمْلِكُ صَفْرَاءَ وَلَا بَيْضَاءَ إِلَّا خَاتَمِي.
English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Thabit informed us, from Anas ibn Malik: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to Umm Haram, and we brought him dates and clarified butter, and he said, "Put this back in its container, and this in its skin, for I am fasting." Then he stood and led us in two voluntary rak'ahs, placing Umm Haram and Umm Sulaym behind us, and placing me on his right, as Thabit thought. He said: He led us in voluntary prayer on a mat. When he finished his prayer, Umm Sulaym said, "I have a special request—your little servant Anas—pray to Allah for him." So he did not leave any good, of this world or the next, but he prayed for me to have it, then said, "O Allah, increase his wealth and his children, and bless him in them." Anas said: My daughter told me that I had buried from my own loins more than ninety, and there was no man among the Ansar with more wealth than me in the morning. Then Anas said, "O Thabit, I do not possess any gold or silver except my ring."
