حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينًا وَإِنَّ أَمِينَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ.
English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, who said: Khalid al-Hadhdha' informed me, from Abu Qilabah, from Anas, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, "Indeed every nation has a trustworthy one, and indeed the trustworthy one of this nation is Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah."
