English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, who said: Humayd al-Tawil informed us, from Thabit al-Bunani, who said: it reached us that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed behind Abu Bakr, during the illness in which he died, sitting, wrapped in a garment—he said, I think he said a mantle. Then he called Usamah, and leaned his back against his chest, then said, "O Usamah, raise me up to you." Yazid said: In the book that I have it is transmitted from Anas, but he did not say "from Anas," so he denied it and confirmed it was Thabit.
