حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ وَعَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ أَعْتَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا.
English Translation
Surayj ibn al-Nu'man narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Thabit and 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Suhayb, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, freed Safiyyah and made her manumission her dowry.
