حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي الْمَخْزُومِيَّ وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ نِصْفُ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ.
English Translation
Abu Sa'id told us: Abdullah ibn Ja'far - that is, al-Makhzumi - told us, and Isma'il ibn Muhammad told us, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'The prayer of one sitting is half the prayer of one standing.'
