English Translation
Hasan ibn Musa told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us, from Asim al-Ahwal, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Medina is a sanctuary from such-and-such to such-and-such; whoever introduces an innovation in it, or shelters an innovator, upon him is the curse of God, the angels, and all mankind. Its trees shall not be cut down.' He said: And al-Hasan said, 'Except for camel fodder.'
