English Translation
Abu Qatan told us: Ibn Awn told us, from Muhammad, who said: Whenever Anas narrated a hadith from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and finished it, he would say, 'Or as the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said.' Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi told us: Isma'il informed us: Humayd informed me, from Anas, who said: There were young men of the Ansar called the Reciters, and he mentioned the meaning of Abu Bakr's hadith.
