English Translation
Yunus told us, Hammad - meaning Ibn Zayd - told us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, that he said, "I spare no effort to pray with you just as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray with us." He said: Anas used to do something that I do not see you doing: when he raised his head from bowing, he would stand up straight until one would say, "He has surely forgotten," and when he raised his head from prostration, he would sit until one would say, "He has surely forgotten."
