حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ الثُّفْلُ قَالَ عَبَّادٌ يَعْنِي الْمَرَقَ.
English Translation
Abu Ja'far al-Mada'ini told us: Abbad ibn al-Awwam told us, from Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was fond of the residue - Abbad said: meaning the broth.
