حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَيَضَعُ رِجْلَهُ عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا وَيُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us, Hisham told us, from Qatadah, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to sacrifice two piebald, horned rams; he slaughtered them with his own hand, placing his foot on their sides, and would say Bismillah and Allahu Akbar.
