حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا أَعْرِفُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا عَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْيَوْمَ فَقَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ وَلَا الصَّلَاةَ فَقَالَ أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا صَنَعَ الْحَجَّاجُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
Rawh told us, Uthman ibn Sa'd told us, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: I do not recognize anything today of what I knew in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Abu Rafi' said: O Abu Hamzah, not even the prayer? He said: Do you not know what al-Hajjaj did to the prayer?
