حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مَا شَمِمْتُ رِيحًا قَطُّ مِسْكًا وَلَا عَنْبَرًا أَطْيَبَ مِنْ رِيحِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا مَسِسْتُ قَطُّ خَزًّا وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
Yazid informed us: Humayd informed us, from Anas, who said, "I never smelled any scent, musk or ambergris, more fragrant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I never touched any silk or brocade softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him."
