قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ إِمَامُ مَسْجِدِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ مَتِينٌ فَأَوْغِلُوا فِيهِ بِرِفْقٍ.
English Translation
'Abdullah said: I found in my father's book, in his own handwriting: Zayd ibn al-Hubab told us, he said: 'Amr ibn Hamzah informed me: Khalaf Abu al-Rabi', the imam of the mosque of Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah, told us: Anas ibn Malik told us, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'This religion is firm and strong, so proceed into it gently.'"
