حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ الثُّومِ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ شَيْئًا فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ أَوْ لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ مَعَنَا.
English Translation
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Suhayb told us, he said: Anas ibn Malik was asked about garlic, and he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever eats of this plant, let him not come near us" — or "let him not pray with us."
