English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Humayd, who said: Anas ibn Malik was asked about the earnings of the cupper. He said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, was cupped by Abu Taybah, and he ordered that he be given a sa' of barley, and spoke to his masters to lighten his tax burden, and he said, "The best of what you treat yourselves with is cupping and sea costus."
