حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ الضُّبَعِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ يُنَاوِلُ أَصْحَابَهُ وَهُمْ يَبْنُونَ الْمَسْجِدَ أَلَا إِنَّ الْعَيْشَ عَيْشُ الْآخِرَهْ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Abu at-Tayyah ad-Duba'i, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, say, while handing bricks to his companions as they built the mosque, "Truly, the real life is the life of the Hereafter — so forgive the Ansar and the Emigrants."
