English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, from Qatadah, concerning the saying of Allah, Mighty and Sublime, "and extended shade" -- from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "In Paradise there is a tree; a rider would travel in its shade for a hundred years without crossing it." Ma'mar said: And Muhammad ibn Ziyad informed me, that he heard Abu Hurayrah say it from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Hurayrah says, "Recite if you wish: 'and extended shade.'"
