حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us, he said, Yahya ibn Ayyub told us, from Humayd, who said: I heard Anas say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "A morning expedition in the way of Allah, or an evening one, is better than the world and all that is in it."
