English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir told us, Hammad - meaning Ibn Zayd - told us, from Salm al-Alawi, that he heard Anas ibn Malik say: A man entered upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wearing a yellow garment, and he disliked it. When the man got up, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to some of his companions, "If only you had told him to remove this yellow garment" - he said it twice or three times. Anas said: And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, rarely confronted a man to his face with something he disliked.
