حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَكَفَانَا وَآوَانَا وَكَمْ مِمَّنْ لَا كَافِيَ لَهُ وَلَا مُؤْوِيَ.
English Translation
Hasan ibn Musa told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he lay down on his bed, would say, "Praise be to Allah who has fed us and given us drink, and sufficed us and sheltered us, for how many are there who have no one to suffice them or shelter them."
