حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُكْسَى حُلَّةً مِنْ النَّارِ إِبْلِيسُ فَيَضَعُهَا عَلَى حَاجِبِهِ وَيَسْحَبُهَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتُهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَهُوَ يُنَادِي وَا ثُبُورَاهُ وَيُنَادُونَ يَا ثُبُورَهُمْ قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ حَتَّى يَقِفُوا عَلَى النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ يَا ثُبُورَاهُ وَيَقُولُونَ يَا ثُبُورَهُمْ فَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ { لَا تَدْعُوا الْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَاحِدًا وَادْعُوا ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا } قَالَ عَفَّانُ وَذُرِّيَّتُهُ خَلْفَهُ وَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ يَا ثُبُورَهُمْ قَالَ عَفَّانُ حَاجِبَيْهِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad and Affan told us, they said, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The first to be clothed in a garment of Fire will be Iblis. He will place it upon his brow and drag it behind him, and his offspring behind him, while he calls out, 'O my destruction!' and they call out, 'O our destruction!'" Abd al-Samad said he repeated it twice: "until they stand at the Fire, and he says, 'O my destruction!' and they say, 'O our destruction!' Then it will be said to them, {Do not call today for one destruction, but call for many destructions.}" Affan said: "and his offspring behind him, and they say, 'O their destruction!'" Affan said: "his two brows."
