English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us, my father told me, Sinan told us, Anas told us that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, took hold of a branch and shook it, but it did not shed its leaves; then he shook it again, but it did not shed its leaves; then he shook it and it shed its leaves. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Indeed, saying 'Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is greatest' sheds away sins just as this tree sheds its leaves."
