English Translation
Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us: Hisham ibn Hassan narrated to us, from Muhammad—that is, ibn Sirin—from Anas ibn Malik: that Hilal ibn Umayya accused his wife [of adultery] with Sharik ibn Sahma'. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Watch her; if she brings forth a child with curly hair, dark eyes, and thin shins, then it belongs to Sharik ibn Sahma'; and if she brings forth a child that is white, straight-haired, with weak eyes, then it belongs to Hilal ibn Umayya." And she brought forth a child with curly hair, dark eyes, and thin shins.
