حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ فَدَخَلَ صَاحِبٌ لَنَا إِلَى خَرِبَةٍ يَقْضِي حَاجَتَهُ فَتَنَاوَلَ لَبِنَةً لِيَسْتَطِيبَ بِهَا فَانْهَارَتْ عَلَيْهِ تِبْرًا فَأَخَذَهَا فَأَتَى بِهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِذَلِكَ قَالَ زِنْهَا فَوَزَنَهَا فَإِذَا مِائَتَا دِرْهَمٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا رِكَازٌ وَفِيهِ الْخُمْسُ.
English Translation
Anas ibn Malik reported: We went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to Khaybar. A companion of ours entered a ruin to relieve himself and reached for a brick to clean himself with, but it crumbled in his hand revealing gold. He took it to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and informed him. The Prophet said: "Weigh it." He weighed it and it was two hundred dirhams. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "This is buried treasure (rikaz), and one-fifth is due on it."
