حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَجِبْتُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَقْضِ قَضَاءً إِلَّا كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan, who said: al-Qasim ibn Shurayh narrated to me, from Tha'labah, who said: I heard Anas say: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "I marvel at the believer — Allah never decrees anything for him except that it is good for him."
