English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Shu'bah: al-Taymi narrated to us, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said on the day of Badr: "Who will go and see what happened to Abu Jahl?" So Ibn Mas'ud went and found the two sons of 'Afra' had struck him down until he was cold. He seized him by his beard and said, "Are you Abu Jahl?" He said: "Is there any man above one whom you have killed, or whom his own people have killed?"
