حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ ابْنٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضَاحِكُهُ قَالَ فَرَآهُ حَزِينًا فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: Abu Talhah had a son called Abu 'Umayr, whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to joke with playfully. He saw him sad one day, so he said: "O Abu 'Umayr, what happened to the little bird?"
