English Translation

Sufyan narrated to us from al-Zuhri, who heard it from Anas, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, fell from a horse and his right side was scraped. We went in to visit him, and the time for prayer came, so he prayed sitting, and we prayed sitting behind him. When he finished the prayer, he said, "The imam is only appointed to be followed: when he says the takbir, say the takbir; when he bows, bow" - Sufyan said once: "and when he prostrates, prostrate; and when he says 'Allah hears whoever praises Him,' say 'Our Lord, to You is the praise'; and if he prays sitting, pray sitting, all of you."
