حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ مَا مَسِسْتُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ خَزًّا وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا شَمَمْتُ رَائِحَةً أَطْيَبَ مِنْ رِيحِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, who said: Anas ibn Malik said, "I never touched any silk brocade or silk softer than the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I never smelled a fragrance sweeter than the scent of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him."
