English Translation
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a man being supported between his two sons. He said, "What is this?" They said, "He vowed to walk." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has no need for this man to punish himself." So he ordered him, and he rode. Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, from Thabit, from Anas: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a man being supported between his two sons, and he mentioned something similar.
