حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ أَمَرَنَا نَبِيُّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَقْرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا تَيَسَّرَ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammam told us, Qatadah informed us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to recite the Opening of the Book and whatever is easy [of the Qur'an].
