حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَجْتَنِبْ الْوَجْهَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you fights his brother, let him avoid the face."
