حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَبَإٍ، عُتْبَةَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُغِيثٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ صَاحِبَ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا.
English Translation
It was narrated from `Urwah bin Mugheeth al-Ansari, that Hadrat 'Umar bin al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ruled that the owner of a mount is more entitled to ride on the front part of it.
