حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْلُصُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنْ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُحْتَبَسُونَ عَلَى قَنْطَرَةٍ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ فَيُقْتَصُّ لِبَعْضِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ مَظَالِمُ كَانَتْ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى إِذَا هُذِّبُوا وَنُقُّوا أُذِنَ لَهُمْ فِي دُخُولِ الْجَنَّةِ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَأَحَدُهُمْ أَهْدَى لِمَنْزِلِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنْهُ بِمَنْزِلِهِ كَانَ فِي الدُّنْيَا.
English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Abu al-Mutawakkil al-Naji, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The believers will be delivered from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection, and they will be held on a bridge between Paradise and the Fire, and retribution will be exacted between them for wrongs that were between them in this world, until when they have been purified and cleansed, they will be permitted to enter Paradise. By the One in whose hand is my soul, one of them will find his way to his dwelling in Paradise better known to him than his dwelling was in this world."
