English Translation
Waki' told us: Fudayl ibn Marzuq told me, from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: A man asked him about the ritual bath after major impurity, and he said, "Three [pourings]." The man said, "But I have thick hair." Abu Sa'id said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had thicker hair than you, and was more fragrant."
