حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَدَّاكِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ جَنِينِ النَّاقَةِ وَالْبَقَرَةِ فَقَالَ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَكُلُوهُ فَإِنَّ ذَكَاتَهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Mujalid: Abu al-Waddak told us, from Abu Sa'id, who said: We asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about the fetus found in a slaughtered she-camel or cow, and he said, "If you wish, eat it, for its slaughter is [covered by] the slaughter of its mother."
