حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو رِفَاعَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي وَلِيدَةً وَأَنَا أَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ مَا يُرِيدُ الرَّجُلُ وَأَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ وَإِنَّ الْيَهُودَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ الْمَوْءُودَةَ الصُّغْرَى الْعَزْلُ فَقَالَ كَذَبَتْ يَهُودُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَهُ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَصْرِفَهُ.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun told us: Hisham informed us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Muhammad ibn Abdur-Rahman, who said: Abu Rifa'ah told me that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a slave-girl and I withdraw from her [practice coitus interruptus]; I want what a man wants, but I dislike that she become pregnant, and the Jews claim that withdrawal is minor infanticide." He said, "The Jews lie. If Allah wishes to create it, no one can turn it away."
