English Translation
Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Harb ibn Shaddad narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, that Abu Sa'id, the freedman of al-Mahdi, told him, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent an expedition against Banu Lihyan of Hudhayl, and said: "Let one of every two men set out, and the reward will be shared between them."
