حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رُبَيْحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا وُضُوءَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ.
English Translation
Zayd ibn al-Hubab told us, saying: Kathir ibn Zayd al-Laythi told me, saying: Rubayh ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa'id al-Khudri told me, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "There is no ablution valid for one who does not mention the name of Allah over it."
