حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا صِيَامَ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَلَا يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى.
English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us, Isra'il told us, from Jabir, from 'Amir, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "There is no prayer after dawn until the sun rises, nor after the afternoon prayer until the sun sets, and no fasting on the Day of Fast-Breaking nor the Day of Sacrifice."
